We're off!

Tomorrow I'll get on a plane for my first trans-Atlantic flight.

We will be living in the German Colony (click here for Hebrew and more pictures!) in Jerusalem. They say giants used to live there.

Here's the neighborhood:

Noam's First Birthday!

Dear All,

July 23rd, 2007 was my first birthday! We celebrated by going to the doctor so I could get my shots (my parents are mean that way). Grandma and Aunt Debra came too, so except for the shots it was a fun trip.

On July 25th, Eema and Daddy threw a party for me at Bubbe's house. Eema made me a birthday cake (thanks to Grandma for the great recipe!) and Daddy decorated the house.

Lots of my friends came (also Eema's friends, and Bubbe's friends, and Aunt Debra T's friends) and we all had a great time.

Some highlights:
- Great Grandma and Great Grandpa were there (thanks to Aunt Debra W for bringing them)

- Two Aunts Debra in the same place at the same time!

- I got to play with my friend Shua - his birthday is coming up soon!

- Lots of hugs from Elisha, and smiles from Baby Nava
- Marlene (babysitter extraordinaire) came to say bye-bye (that was sad)

- Lynne and Alex came (in shifts)
- Cousin Melissa - long time, no see!
- Cousins Esther and Yitzchak
- first ever taste of chocolate cake! I loved it - for about thirty seconds. People to see, toys to throw...

Thanks everyone for coming. I know I won't see some of you for a while, but keep in touch. I'll keep you posted on our Israel adventure!
